I became familiar with Bastyre University and the caliber of professionals they produced while visiting the campus and adjacent park regularly when I resided in Seattle. After moving to Bellingham, I was fortunate enough to find a graduate of that program who I believe is a skilled expert in this discipline. I highly recommend Michele.

Michele helped me get through a very terrible period of my life. I have very extreme nerve damage and pain. All the doctors I was seeing only wanted to put me on methadone and other narctic pain relievers for the rest of my life. They told me there was nothing they could do for me. Michele was the first person to tell me she could help me. She not only gave me much needed pain relief she also went out of her way to find other medical help for me. I was also going through loss of income,home,ect. ect. Micheles compassion and patience played a huge part of helping me get through those difficult losses. I am not exaggrating when I say Michele helped me get back my life.

Before Dr. Peter Eartheart had this practice, I experienced a treatment/adjustment. An enlightened individual, who treats more than the physical ailment ie. mind/body, I highly recommend him. If I didn’t currently live across the country, I would readily avail myself of continued treatment. If you want to feel better and/or accelerate your wellness, this is your man.

Michele was very helpful during my pregnancy. She not only showed my husband how to cup my lower back during labor, but she lent us some cups she had just in case I went into labor early. She is very attentive to her patient’s needs. Her patience and gentle touch makes her a natural. I would highly recommend her.

Ann was a wonderful choice for our birth center birth. She guided us toward helpful resources in preparation for our son’s arrival, saw to each visit with great attention to our needs, answered every question we had, and successfully eased our minds when we had anxiety.

While our regular visits were wonderful and reassuring, it was the birth of our son and Ann’s postpartum attention that really confirmed we had made a good choice when selecting her. There were complications that would have likely driven a hospital birth team toward interventions, but Ann knew exactly how to work to move me through them and to successfully deliver my 8lb13oz baby totally naturally, safely, and confidently. She saw to it that we were doing well in the days and weeks that followed, making house visits as needed and inviting us to call her for anything we needed. She will forever be a part of our memories, and we are lucky to have found her to assist us through what ended up being a very positive experience.

As a mother of three, I can confidently say that Ann Tive helped me to create my ideal labor and delivery and that I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with her *just once more* in the future. If you are considering using a midwife and appreciate calm, level-headed guidance over a forceful or overly medical direction, it’s worth your time to interview her and see if she would work for you!

I’ve worked with Diana for several years, and she is an amazing intuitive with a gift for creating locally wildcrafted flower essences. Her healing abilities are wonderful and I highly recommend her. If you have the opportunity to visit her farm on Lummi, you will be enchanchted!

Julia is more than a talented masseuse. She cares enough to ask questions that help her know more about an individual persons problem areas, and in my case has offered tips such as a gentle head/neck exercize that has given me better neck mobility, & most recently she recommended an exercize ball as a way toward improving posture as well as general mobility.
